This class is VIRTUAL only. No in-person option is allowed.

For every 50 minutes of instruction, you will have a 10 minute break.

The instructor encourages you to eat lunch/snacks as needed during class to save time.

Requirements for Virtual Class

The platform for these courses is ZOOM. Your computer must have a working microphone and camera to participate. A cell phone is not an acceptable substitute for a computer.

If you are unfamiliar with ZOOM and would like assistance to be prepared, please visit the Zoom website or sites like YouTube. There are dozens of video tutorials online. The morning of class is not the time to first explore the platform as the staff will not have time to assist you.

All course materials will be emailed to you the week before class. Please make arrangements to either print out the material or have a secondary computer/device to read it during class.

Check-In

NCLBGC requires each course to have a separate check-in. You will receive a ZOOM meeting link that will run for the entire day. If you are taking all courses offered, once admitted, you will remain connected all day. If you are only taking one or two courses, you will be given a check-in time.

Check-in for the 8:00am class opens at 7:15am.

Check-in for the 10:00am class opens at 9:50am.

Check-in for the 12:00pm class opens at 11:50am.

To check in, you must have a photo ID, a Driver's License is preferred. To speed up the process, please have this ID ready to show the camera when you click the link to "Join the Meeting."

This day is designed to help a GC catch-up with the courses missed in 2022. All 6-hours of electives will count for either 2022 or 2023, but not both.

Home Builders Association Membership

Current HBA Members receive a discount. HPABA will honor membership at other HBAs.

All students must take the 2-hour mandatory course once each year. The 2022 Mandatory course can only be taken online at this time. The other six hours are electives.
